The IT elementary school and IT elements provide a set of free shared resources for anyone interested in Computing and Information Technology, but maybe doesn’t know where to start to get acquainted with the industry jargon and basic terminology and concepts. There’s a bit more background here.
The home page is built around a table of IT elements, each element (module) is designed to be read stand-alone and does not require any prior knowledge. Why not try Strategy or Jargon to get you started. Just click on any element in the table and read away. There is no syllabus, time commitment, exams or certificate of attendance…and did I say that it is free!
We are still creating the content so not all the modules are complete, but hopefully you get a little taste of what is coming soon…subscribing to the newsletter will tell you about new and revised content when it is available.
There is also a blog, which is more varied and hopefully interesting and informative if the thought of reading about Information Technology puts you off.
Please stop and have a look around, let me know what you think, ask me a question, or subscribe to the email newsletter.
Thank you for visiting.
